Community Engagement. Charitable Projects.
At Wildbore & Gibbons we have a long established role in working with businesses of all sizes – from individuals managing a single brand all the way through to global multinational companies managing their Trade Mark portfolios across many jurisdictions.
We support growing brands directly with legal advice but also play a wider role in the community to promote Intellectual Property to a diverse range of audiences and educate people of all backgrounds in the key aspects of brand protection.
The team at Wildbore are particularly enthusiastic about engaging community audiences and educating them about IP. Sometimes we support our team members directly with their client and client sector activities and very often in their own charitable endeavours in their local communities.
Every year we offer free seminars to an array of audiences and sectors and actively support and promote their activities.
2016 has been a particularly “engaging” year for us!
Showcasing the best of African inspired products. We have volunteered speakers at both GUBA business conferences and offered free advice to many start up companies.
We have organised talks to the directors groups involved in running sports bodies and organisations to enable them to gain key insights into how to protect their brands.
Helping this dynamic local charity to deliver additional educational services to its growing membership has been our privilege in recent years.
Empowering young people to learn, to work, to live.
Members of the Wildbore team volunteer their time to support Young Enterprise companies, and help develop the business adviser network which supports the schools and students involved.
Inspiring young people by connecting schools and students to inspiring business speakers
We are regular speakers in schools and colleagues to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
One of our team is a Board member of the Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation which supports cultural activities to inspire and engage through poetry, music and special events such as Rock for Rimbaud
Our staff are keen to engage the next generation of business people and entrepreneurs. We regularly give talks, presentations and become involved in Dragon’s Den style events for the Jobwise Training team in London. We enjoy highly interactive and entertaining talks with the students of Jobwise and are happy to listen to their business presentations and provide feedback to enable them to improve their business skills and career prospects.
